AureForm Surfaces is a locally owned custom-surface company serving homeowners and businesses throughout the Cincinnati–Dayton area.

We create handcrafted, stone-inspired surfaces through two distinct options: transforming existing countertops onsite or fabricating completely new replacement tops in our shop. Every project is individually designed around the customer, the space, and the look they want to achieve.

Built From a Lifetime of Hands-On Experience

AureForm Surfaces was founded by Ryan Sams, whose background combines woodworking, cabinetry, small-business ownership, customer service, and more than a decade of professional sales experience.

Early in his woodworking career, Ryan worked full-time in his family’s cabinet shop while also operating No Job Too Small, a handyman company with a team of two to three employees. He met with customers, estimated and sold projects, purchased materials, organized the work, and helped ensure every job was completed properly.

Those experiences taught him that craftsmanship matters—but so do communication, reliability, and doing what you said you would do.

After ten years of traveling for work, Ryan wanted to return to creating something tangible while building a business that would allow him to be more present with his wife and children. AureForm Surfaces brings those goals together through creativity, craftsmanship, and personal service.

AureForm surfaces are not pulled from a warehouse or chosen from a stack of identical slabs. Each design is created by hand using carefully layered colors, movement, and detail to produce a distinctive stone-inspired appearance.

Because every surface is handcrafted, no two are exactly alike.

Onsite Surface Transformations

We prepare and transform qualifying existing countertops directly in the home or business, creating an entirely new appearance without replacing the underlying surface.

Custom Replacement Tops

When replacement is the better option, we measure and template the space, fabricate the new surfaces in our shop, and return to complete the installation.

Beyond kitchens, our process can be used to create vanities, bar tops, tabletops, desks, fireplace components, commercial surfaces, and other custom pieces.

From the initial design conversation through fabrication, finishing, and installation, our goal is to provide clear communication and careful attention to detail.
